HOW DID YOU GET INTO PILATES?
Born in Zurich, Switzerland, I have moved to Seattle after living in Paris, London and San Francisco. My passion for design lead me to working in a few design firms here in Seattle before I left to travel around the word for a year. Having been an active dressage rider in Switzerland I have experienced some back and knee stiffness during my riding career. Both issues became a bit more challenging carrying a big backpack for all those months. So after returning from a year on the road I took on a design project designing marketing materials for a Pilates studio. I became hooked immediately!
WHY DO YOU LOVE PILATES?
I love how Pilates challenges me mentally and physically. I have tried out many different kinds of exercises but the potentials with Pilates are never-ending and it keeps me on my toes. I love working with a variety of clients (my youngest client is 12, my oldest 77) and enjoy how the method helps them on a daily basis.
WHAT CAN ONE EXPECT WHEN TAKING YOUR CLASS?
My classes tend to be challenging - I can't help it! My classes are also different every time. I don't ever want any of my clients having to take the same class twice. And yes, they are always fun. Or as much fun as one can have while engaging the core ;)
